The 1st Noel

I recorded this song in response to a request from the lovely Dawn! Thank you Dawn for the suggestion and the sweet encouragement, I so appreciate it. Bless you my friend.

I have to admit, I do not feel like this is the greatest recording, but I’m encouraged to share it anyways because I know I’ll do it again and I expect it to be much better each time. I actually put the lyrics up on the youtube video this time. The lyrics were so beautiful.

I had a hard time finding this song at first in it’s classic form, with the original lyrics. That’s because Lauren Daigle and Chris Tomlin made a remix of the original that is so amazing it comes up in piles if you do a search. The remix blew me away and I had to stop what I was doing to just worship, wow.

The Lauren Daigle and Chris Tomlin remix inspired me to ask God to help me record in that caliber someday. I want all the instruments, the cello, the awesome somber tone. It brought tears to my eyes. Anyhow, it was past 3 am. when I laid down. But here’s the video below: There’s also a buy button below if you would like to support me and download the mp3. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Bible verse of the day

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
